Aloft Remodeling.
Multi-Location CMS Architecture & Performance Optimization
- Platform: Webflow (Logic & Centralized CMS).
- Development: Webflow, HTML5, CSS, JS
- Framework: Performance-Optimized UI Systems.
- Standards: WCAG AA Accessibility, Multi-Location SEO Structure.
01. The Challenge
Aloft Remodeling required a digital platform that could manage multiple regional service areas under a unified brand. The goal was to build a "System of Record"—a centralized architecture that supported three distinct office locations while maintaining elite performance, rapid load speeds, and high-conversion UX.
02. The Strategy & Role
As the Design Systems Lead, I implemented my signature multi-location framework. This approach is designed for 3–8+ office structures, prioritizing long-term maintainability and performance:
- Centralized CMS Architecture: Engineered a "Single Source of Truth" backend. This allowed the client to manage content across all offices from one location, ensuring brand consistency while providing location-specific flexibility.
- Performance-First Engineering: Focused on a lightweight front-end structure. By optimizing the code and asset delivery, I significantly improved load speeds and Core Web Vitals.
- Scalable Framework: Built the site on a modular foundation, allowing Aloft to add new regional offices in the future with zero architectural rework.
03. Key Deliverables
- Multi-Location CMS: A streamlined system for managing 3 independent office landing pages and service data.
- Optimized Front-End: A high-performance build focused on accessibility (WCAG AA) and industry-leading load times.
- Workflow Standardization: Established a process that reduced the need for manual updates, ensuring that a single change at the corporate level populated correctly across all location sub-folders.
- Lead-Gen Funnel: Strategically architected navigation and CTAs tailored to high-end residential remodeling leads.
